Our Background

Vantage R&D Consulting Limited was established in 2019 by Director, John Mapother. John has been delivering research and development tax credits for large and small companies since 2014 and was the Principal Analyst at his previous employer, specialising in delivering the largest and most complex claims. John decided to establish his own agency so that he could continue to provide a flexible and bespoke solution for his clients.

Our business was initially built around the Motorsport industry, providing expert advice to teams in the British Superbike Championship and injecting significant amount of funding into the Paddock. From there we were introduced to manufacturers of fabrications, machined components and composites, and we have now grown into a busy agency compiling claims for a wide variety of sectors from railway plant machinery to software development.
